How results will be tracked
Every official play should be recorded before the race begins. The log should include the track, date, race, horse or combination, wager type, posted odds when available, amount risked, return, and result.
No retroactive “official” picks
Opinions mentioned after the result should not be added to the public record. Scratches and changes should remain visible through timestamps or an edit log.
ROI needs a denominator
Return on investment should be calculated from total amount wagered, not only winning tickets. Meet summaries should also separate win bets, exotic tickets, and promotional free-play results.
The launch version begins at zero. That is intentional. A trustworthy record starts when live, timestamped selections begin.
